Received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University in 1985. David worked nine years for a large local public accounting firm prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis in 1994. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants. David has served as the Chairperson of the Board of MASCO, Chairman and Finance Chair of Gateways to Better Living. He’s also served as the President of the Greater Youngstown Area Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants, and of the Mahoning Valley Chapter of the Ohio Society of CPAs.
His experience spans many facets of the industry, including audits, accounting, taxes, and management advisory services, as well as working with manufacturing, wholesale, financial service, and contractor clients. With 39 years of experience in Employee Benefit Plan auditing, including primarily multi-employer plans, he is the firm’s designated audit partner for its membership in the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center. David also brings more than 41 years of auditing experience for nonprofit organizations. David also has experience with Forensic and Valuation Services.
David is married, has two children, and resides in Austintown.
Leo received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 1981. Prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis CPAs Inc., in January 1998, Leo was associated with a large public accounting firm for sixteen years. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on the boards of various civic organizations.
Leo has a particularly strong background in partnership, S-Corporation, individual taxation, business valuation, estate planning and management advisory services.
He also has many years of experience in the performance of financial statement audits and reviews in a wide range of industries, including the Oil & Gas industry.
Leo is married, has two daughters, and resides in Austintown.
Sharon graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1998. Prior to her employment with Yurchyk & Davis, Sharon provided software support and accounting services for a private corporation until she joined the firm in January 1999. Sharon focuses on accounting, auditing, and tax services primarily for the construction, manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors.
She is the firm’s Sage 50 Software supervisor and performs general ledger consulting.
Sharon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accounts and has served on several board of trustees for local nonprofit agencies including: Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens and Boardman United Methodist Preschool and Child Care. She also enjoys volunteering with area nonprofit agencies.
Sharon is married, has three children, and resides in Boardman.
In June 1988, Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, where she majored in Accounting and minored in Economics. Upon graduation, Lisa was employed by a large, international, public accounting firm for six years. Before joining Yurchyk & Davis in 2011, she worked for a local accounting and tax firm. Lisa prepares and reviews corporate, partnership, nonprofit, individual, and payroll tax returns. She provides accounting services and assists in various audits and financial statement preparation. Lisa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Public Accountants.
For many years, Lisa served on the Board of Austintown Local Schools PTA/PTSA and the Austintown Band Parents Club. She is a member of The Youngstown Playhouse & Youth Theatre Board of Directors.
Lisa has three daughters and resides in Canfield.
In 1996, Angie graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Prior to her employment with Yurchyk & Davis in 1999, Angie was an accountant with a local accounting firm. Angie assists in financial statement preparation and payroll tax return review, as well as individual, partnership, and corporate tax return preparation and review. Angie is an Advanced QuickBooks Certified Pro-Advisor, and performs general ledger consulting, software support, and computer software installation.
She is the Treasurer for the Columbiana Community Foundation and a past trustee of the Crestview Athletic Boosters and the Crestview Little Rebels.
Angie is married, has two children, and resides in New Waterford.
Kristina graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. While completing her degree, Kristina began her employment with Yurchyk & Davis in January 2008. She is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, AICPA, and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of the Mahoning Valley, and serves as treasurer for various community organizations. Kristina manages multi-employer pension, profit sharing, health & welfare plans, along with not-for-profit audits. She also prepares individual, employee benefit plan, not-for-profit, and corporate tax returns.
Kristina is married, has two children, and resides in Boardman.
Kyle graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Majoring in Accounting. While completing his degree, Kyle began working with Yurchyk & Davis in November 2018. He conducts audit fieldwork for multi-employer pension, profit-sharing, and health & welfare plans as well as preparing audited financial statements. He also prepares employee benefit plan, non-profit, and corporate tax returns. He is a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
He resides in Cortland.
In 2023, Amy graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting. She graduated originally in 1999 from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science in Criminal Justice – Legal. Since joining Yurchyk & Davis in January 2008, she has assisted on many different levels within the office but mostly on audits of multi-employer plan pension, health & welfare, profit-sharing, retirement, and 401k plans. She meets all the qualifications to audit non-profit organizations established by Government Auditing Standards and conducts fieldwork and financial statement preparation on audits. She also prepares individual, non-profit, employee benefit plans, and corporate tax returns. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Amy served on Austintown Relay for Life Committee for six years, three of which as the Event Co-Chair.
She resides in Niles.
Stephanie graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Majoring in Accounting in 2010. She is currently attending Kent State University for a Master of Science in Accounting. Prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis in November 2023, she oversaw the operations and bookkeeping for her family business. Stephanie assists in fieldwork for multi-employer pension, profit sharing, and health & welfare plan audits. She also assists in corporate tax planning and tax returns. She is a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
She resides in Canfield, Ohio.
In 2008, John graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, where he majored in accounting. He had 4 years of public accounting experience before joining Yurchyk & Davis in December 2012. He conducts audit fieldwork for non-profit organizations as well as preparing audited financial statements. He also prepares non-profit tax returns.
John is married, has two children, and resides in Poland.
In 2024, Rachel graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Accounting. She also graduated in 2013 from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Advertising & Public Relations. She works on Nonprofit Audits as well as reviews and compilations. She also has experience in taxes, particularly 990 returns for Nonprofits as well as individual tax returns. She is a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
She resides in Austintown.
Lynn provides accounting services for clients in the health care profession and various other industries. She performs payroll tax preparation, financial statement compilation, year-end corporate, partnerships, and individual tax return preparation. Before joining Yurchyk & Davis in 1990, Lynn worked at a medical laboratory for thirteen years as the office manager and A/P, A/R bookkeeping coordinator. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Lynn is married, has two children, six grandchildren and resides in Canfield.
A graduate of Liberty High School in 1987, Rhonda worked in the banking industry prior to her employment with Yurchyk & Davis in 1995. In addition to preparing payroll tax returns and monthly and year-end financial statements, she performs various bookkeeping services.
Rhonda is married, has four children, 3 grandchildren, and resides in Liberty.
When you call or visit our office, you will receive a warm and friendly greeting from Jamie. Prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis in August 2016, she worked at a local company for four years as a bank teller, responsible for customer service and helping to keep the operation running smoothly.
Jamie is married, has two children, two grandchildren and resides in Leetonia.
